Business Development Manager
Bluewrist Inc. develops and markets industrial automation solutions and products in the areas of robotics and 3D machine vision, including solutions for automated quality control and robot guidance. We’re looking for an experienced Industrial . We are a technology driven company with world class clients around the world. We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to grow our customer base. Start of employment would be as soon as possible. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high growth Canadian technology company with the ambition of expanding globally.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prospecting/sourcing out potential customers – Business Development.
- Present and sell products and services to current clients and new clients.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Contact sales prospects and other accounts as assigned.
- Prepare, present proposals and sales contracts.
- Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
- Prepare a variety of status reports for review by management including activity (Weekly Pipeline Report, Key Activities Report), closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
- Co-ordination of delivery and installation schedules for products and services sold to clients.
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, sales campaign, client events, etc.
- Follow-up and assist for collection of overdue accounts.
- Strategic leadership with an intense focus on achieving both short and long terms goals.
- Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Bluewrist Inc.
- Collaborate with Bluewrist Marketing, Engineering and Development teams to drive sales and product development strategies based on market needs.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of industrial B2B sales experience
- Able to effectively build relationships with executive team and key customer stakeholders
- Proven record of driving and closing large complex sales
- Preferably experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software
- Preferably industrial automation or software experience.
- Long-term dedication to learn and grow within the Bluewrist organization.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations and demonstrations.
- Ability to create, compose and edit written materials.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, technical and non-technical.
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
- General business intelligence and project management.
- Maintain a professional appearance and project a positive company image to customers and the public.
- Prepared to travel as required.
